Meet Michael Tugendhat!
At Pain to Presence Psychotherapy, you’ll find a trauma-informed virtual space where your mind, body, emotions, and spirit are honored. Instead of focusing on getting rid of pain, many of the approaches I use connect you with all parts of your inner world: both what’s protecting you and what’s hurting underneath…
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is the primarily framework that I see all people—a compassionate, humanistic, respectful way to work with our most tender places. I’m also comfortable using other integrative approaches that best fit your needs.
Why Work with Michael?
Michael blends attachment-focused, experiential, and trauma-informed therapies to help clients move beyond their pain toward a life where pain and compassionate presence can coexist. He is an ICEEFT-Certified Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapist, has advanced training in using IFS with chronic pain clients, and enjoys integrating aspects of spirituality into his work (depending on a client’s interest and comfort).
