Persistent pain can be devastating to you, loved ones, and living the life you’re longing for. Symptoms can arise without a clear structural explanation, while others linger well beyond what doctors expect…you deserve a therapist who will come alongside you with compassion, care, and approaches that make a difference.

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) can involve deeply disruptive and confusing symptoms that impact daily functioning, identity, relationships, and one’s sense of safety within the body. Individuals living with FND may experience symptoms such as tremors, weakness, gait difficulties, non-epileptic seizures, sensory changes, chronic fatigue, pain, or nervous system overwhelm — often alongside feelings of fear, grief, frustration, or not feeling fully understood. Therapy can provide a supportive space to process the emotional impact of these experiences while strengthening nervous system regulation, self-trust, resilience, and connection. My approach integrates trauma-informed and nervous system-oriented care tailored to the unique challenges of living with FND.

Trauma can leave the nervous system feeling stuck in survival mode long after difficult experiences have ended. You may feel constantly on edge, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or others, or trapped in painful memories and patterns. Therapy can support healing by helping you process traumatic experiences safely, reconnect with your body and emotions, and strengthen a sense of grounding, security, and self-compassion. Approaches may include EMDR, IFS, Brainspotting, and nervous system-focused interventions.

Chronic illness can change nearly every aspect of life — including relationships, identity, daily functioning, and the sense of safety within one’s own body. Many people living with chronic health conditions also carry grief, anxiety, isolation, medical trauma, or feelings of being misunderstood. Therapy can provide support in navigating these emotional and relational challenges while building greater self-compassion, adaptability, and connection.
